June 2nd marked one of my favorite social events of the season – the annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic at Liberty State Park. I was coming off of three weeks in Cali, and was only home for ten hours before I jumped back in the plane, but was pumped for the #VCPoloClassic! Besides watching the chukkers (GO Nachoooo!) and drinking my favorite champagne with friends, there is another reason I adore this event – the fashion. I love seeing the incredible outfits that show up and show off for Veuve, and here I’m listing out my top five!
1. @Tezzamb
Tezza is one of my favorite all-around bloggers – a musician, a lover of travel, and a total creative personality. She wears the outfits that no one else could truly pull off like she can and gets the shot that no one else envisioned. Below, pictured wearing an Alice and Olivia dress with Cult Gaia bag.
I actually tried this dress on to wear it, and praise Jesus I didn’t because Leomie Anderson walked in and looks 100 times more killer than I could ever imagine looking. You go Glen Coco – on a big scale. Pictured below wearing Zimmermann.
Natalie looks like a straight up STUNNER in this Carolina Herrera dress. Veuve Clicquot is all about the party, and Natalie came in wearing the party.
4. @ohhcouture
Leonie Hanne is usually wearing a piece that I want to raid for my own closest, and this number was no different. While all of these looks are gorgeous, this year’s event was HOT. Like, real sticky and steamy. Leonie’s look was not only gorgeous, it was also extremely practical for the actual weather that day. I was warm in sleeves and was jealous of this breezy look! (And those shoes are the cutest!) Pictured below in Fendi.
The woman that kicked off this entire event, infamous model Winnie Harlow. Wearing JW Anderson, don’t know if there is any human that can pull off this look nor this photo better than Winnie herself.
And finally, details on my outfit! I was dressed by my wonderful friends at Hampden Clothing, and was in the dressing room for a solid hour before I could decide between all of their incredible dresses. I went with this blush silk dress by Zimmermann. It was perfect for the event, and I matched all of the Rosé Garden decor. The details all the way down to the button sleeve were so beautiful. My earrings are by one of my favorite designers – Lizzie Fortunato. My heels are a few seasons ago, but also from Hampden Clothing and by Loeffler Randall. I have linked some similar styles. I have also included shopping links for what I almost wore below!
What I almost wore..
Thank you to Veuve Clicquot and Hampden Clothing for making the 2018 Polo Classic such a blast! I loved every second, and I’m still looking for a place to hang our skateboard! See you next year!
