The best interior paint colors are going to differ no matter who you ask, but after a couple of hundred house flips, I have my favorites. I either go for a nice clean slate or dark and moody so below I have included a round up of both. If I could have all of these colors in my home I would appreciate each one – I just need more walls.
1. Farrow and Ball Studio Green
The inspiration color for my PR Home linen line, Studio Green makes me want to never leave. I can’t find anywhere unfavorable to paint this color. Powder room, sitting room, entryway, it doesn’t matter. This dark and moody option will feel much warmer and inviting than you think.

2. Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace
Chantilly Lace is by far the best the most used paint color for us. Interior or exterior, this is a tried and true white that does not pull any warm pinks or yellows. It’s a cooler white that will always stay white.

3. Benjamin Moore Kendall Charcoal
Perfect for a kitchen, mudroom, study or coffee nook, this moody gray is going to make an appearance in one of our homes very soon. I have yet to use it, but I haven’t found a photo of it yet that I don’t love.

4. Benjamin Moore White Dove
For those that want a softer and not a stark white, White Dove is the way to go. Think of it as the cozier version of the more modern Chantilly Lace. If you’re mixing in different layers of taupe and tan, White Dove is your white.

5. Farrow & Ball De Nimes
I’ve saved photos of this same kitchen dozens of times and it’s because of this striking blue by Farrow & Ball. Mixed with a darker cabinet and a light countertop, this color looks historic yet sleek.

6. Farrow & Ball Mole’s Breath
The perfect mixture of brown and gray, this color makes me want to add a cashmere throw and call it a day. Use in a master bedroom, hallway or a room designated for cocktail hour.

7. Farrow & Ball Ammonite
This white reminds me of the white in Santorini – clean, yet a bit dusty like stone. Ammonite in a kitchen calls out for dark windows and doors and accents of antique copper pots.

8. Farrow & Ball Pitch Black
With my accent colors, I like dark and darker. Pitch Black, another inspiration for the linen line, is great for an accent wall or a dark and moody wet bar.

9. Farrow & Ball Lamp Room Gray
Finding the perfect gray without your walls looking like a builder grade home or a page out of a Pottery Barn is tough. Paired with the proper antique pieces and a gallery wall, this gray is your new go-to.

10. Farrow & Ball Sulking Room
A popular color for 2020, this moody mauve-y pink must be used somewhere in an upcoming home. I love this example framed with a day bed and simple yet statement artwork.
